How it started

This initiative resulted from the Business Consultancy team and has now grown into a range of more than 20 internal and 50 external training courses that colleagues can follow. Underneath, there is a wealth of documentation on relevant topics related to digital transformation, ranging from agile to design thinking, change management to business analysis. Colleagues who have built up expertise in a specific field provide training during digital lunch sessions for interested colleagues. For example, as many as 17 internal training courses were organized last year. The Harmony School team, consisting of Business Consultancy colleagues, coordinates and develops the training offerings.

Top Athletes

One of the main objectives of the Business Consultancy unit is to have a team of #TopAthletes to form. Harmony School is one of the initiatives that directly contributes to this goal. At the beginning of this year, Harmony School's mission was further enhanced during a purpose or OKR exercise. Harmony School's mission is described as follows:

  1. Centralizing and sharing knowledge.
  2. Stimulating employees in their personal growth by allowing them to discover various specialization options.
  3. Ensuring a certain set of fundamental skills with each Harmony consultant to ensure quality.

Over the past few months, the Harmony School team has worked hard to develop this fundamental set of skills and identify training needs so that they can offer the right training courses in a more targeted way. This is how we get closer and closer to a team of #TopAthletes.

Never learning

The Harmony School team is always looking for opportunities for improvement. For example, they surveyed all Harmonians to evaluate their experience with Harmony School, which identified action points. In addition, they are working on a new way to offer these training courses to the Harmonians in an organized way. Together with our OutSystems colleagues, we want to build a new platform where all courses can be clearly displayed and where the offer fits well with the training needs of our colleagues.

Thanks to Harmony School, we help Harmonians with their personal development, so that they can improve their hard and soft skills and grow personally.
